constantly growing in faith (Hebrews 6:1).

1.9. Baptism and Communion – We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign
and confession of an internal work (Matt. 28.19; Rom. 6.3 to 8). We believe in
celebrating the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Jesus’ death, using bread and wine
as symbols (1 Cor. 11.24 to 25).

1.10. Baptism in the Holy Spirit – We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is there to
give the believer power, and that the Spirit fills us in the same manner as in Biblical
times (Acts 2:4).

(Eph. 4.30 to 32).

give to the Christians, and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-
filled life (1 Cor. 12, 1-11, Gal. 5.22 ).

govern, except in what is contrary to the will of God (Romans 13.1-5).

there receive eternal life or death (Rev.20 0.11 to 15).

believers (John 14.1-3, Rev.. 7.15 to 17).

responsibilities (Matthew 28.19-20; Jak. 5:20).

and expand His kingdom is by giving tithes and freewill offerings
(Mal. 3.10; 2 Cor. 9.6 to 9).
